Donation Guidelines for Medical Supplies & Equipment

Help MedCircular divert valuable surplus medical resources from landfills and give them a new life! We welcome donations of unused, unexpired medical supplies and functional used biomedical equipment from hospitals, medical equipment manufacturers, distributors, and physician practices through our collection program.

Donation Criteria

Medical supplies

Expiration Date

Items must have an expiration date at least 18 months in the future from the date of donation. Look for the hourglass symbol (⌛) as an indicator. Items without an expiration date are also acceptable.

Condition

Supplies must be unused and in their original, sealed primary packaging (e.g., a syringe in its sealed plastic wrapper, even if the outer box is opened).

Completeness

If applicable, please include related accessories or components.

Age

General medical equipment should preferably be 15 years old or newer. Imaging equipment should preferably be less than 10 years old.

Condition

Equipment must be in full working condition unless specifically pre-approved by MedCircular's Biomedical staff. Vinyl/similar materials should be free from significant stains or tears, and metal components must be free from rust.

Completeness

Please include all necessary components like manuals, cables, power cords, tubing, and spare parts. If anything is missing, please let us know when offering the donation.
